As you know, we have two VCS District Websites; one is our Internet site (for employees and our public) and the other is our Intranet site (for VCS employees only). Although these sites look different, the steps for editing and maintaining your Internet and Intranet department websites are pretty much the same, with just a few variations.
We are in the process of creating reference sheets and Quick How-To Videos for both. We ask that you take time to review as much as you can before you begin to make any changes on your department websites.
To edit, maintain or access your department Internet website, go here: http://myvolusiaschools.org/Pages/default.aspx, click on the Departments tab, select your department. Replace the "myvolusiaschools.org" in the URL with "content.volusia.k12.fl.us" and hit your Enter key. This should take you to the site, giving you the tools to edit.
Before creating or editing anything on your department or school website, please take time to read this manual. It was created by the Multimedia Services Team, which brought you the website to begin with. Let's work together for clean, defined and consistent websites throughout our district.
