Page ContentVoluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) is a free, state-funded program available to children who are four-years-old on or before September 1. VPK is a school readiness program prior to kindergarten eligibility. Children who are 5 by September 1, 2012 are eligible to attend school year VPK and those who will be 5 by September 1, 2013 are eligible to attend VPK in the summer of 2013.
