    Starke Elementary is proud to be a Professional Development School in conjunction with Stetson University.  Professional Development Schools (PDS) are schools that have joined with universities to accomplish common educational goals that include developing exemplary practice to maximize student outcomes, providing optimum sites for teacher candidate preparation, offering in-service teacher professional development, and implementing reflective inquiry to enhance teacher and student learning.  Click here to find out more about Professional Development Schools. 

    Directions:

    From intersection of US 17-92 (Woodland Blvd.) and SR 44 (New York Ave.), proceed south on 17-92 to West Beresford Ave. Turn right and proceed west about 4 blocks to Parsons Ave. Turn right.

    I-95 Exit at I-4 and proceed west on I-4. Exit I-4 at SR 44(exit 56/118) and proceed west towards DeLand. Turn left on Hill Ave. and proceed to Beresford Ave. Turn right and proceed across 17-92 to Parsons Ave. Turn right.

    I-4 Exit at SR 44(exit 56/118) and proceed west towards DeLand. Turn left on Hill Ave. and proceed to Beresford Ave. Turn right and proceed across 17-92 to Parsons Ave. Turn right.

    NSB Take SR 44 west towards DeLand. Turn left on Hill Ave. and proceed to Beresford Ave. Turn right and proceed across 17-92 to Parsons Ave. Turn right.

    NW Take US 17 to DeLand. Proceed on 17-92 to West Beresford Ave and turn right. Travel west about four blocks to Parsons Ave. Turn right.
