    Volusia Instruction Program (VIP)​​​

    ​Each school district in Florida is required by state statute to provide students with the opportunity to enroll in a full or part time Virtual Instruction Program (VIP).     Our starting and ending times have changed for this upcoming school year!  School will begin promptly at 7:50am. Please have your child here by 7:45am, when the first bell rings.  Dismissal will be at 2:30 pm (except on designated early release days.) Thank you!

    Each school district in Florida is required by state statute to provide students with the opportunity to enroll in a Virtual Instruction Program (VIP).     P​arent and Family Engagement Plan

    ​We are excited to provide the attached 2018-19 Parent & Family Engagement Plan (PFEP) for your review.  Please feel free to contact our administrative team with any suggestions, comments or concerns regarding these documents.  Your input on the PFEP is encouraged, and your participation is welcome at our monthly School Advisory Council (SAC) meetings, as well.  Meeting dates can be found by following this link. Spruce Creek Elementary SAC website We look forward to working together with you this year!

    Florida KidCare

    Children with health insurance miss fewer days of school, and applying for Florida KidCare is easy. Any family can apply, and many pay $20 or less per month to insure their children. Most pay nothing at all. Click here for additional information.​

    ​​​After School Supper Program​

    Beginning Monday, March 19, Volusia County Schools will add Spruce Creek Elementary to the Afterschool Nutrition Program, a subcomponent of the Child Care Food Program. This program is designed primarily to provide nutritious suppers to children in afterschool programs. Suppers will be available at no separate charge to children enrolled in an afterschool enrichment program at Spruce Creek Elementary, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability.

    ​Emergency Situation Guide

    During and following an emergency situation, school and district officials must act quickly and follow established emergency protocols to safeguard students and staff, secure schools, and communicate accurate information in a timely manner. Parents can assist greatly by helping with preparation before the emergency.
