Our starting and ending times have changed for this upcoming school year! School will begin promptly at 7:50am. Please have your child here by 7:45am, when the first bell rings. Dismissal will be at 2:30 pm (except on designated early release days.) Thank you!
Each school district in Florida is required by state statute to provide students with the opportunity to enroll in a Virtual Instruction Program (VIP). Students have the option of enrolling in either part-time or full-time virtual courses for the upcoming school year. We are excited to provide the attached 2018-19 Parent & Family Engagement Plan (PFEP) for your review. Please feel free to contact our administrative team with any suggestions, comments or concerns regarding these documents. Your input on the PFEP is encouraged, and your participation is welcome at our monthly School Advisory Council (SAC) meetings, as well. Meeting dates can be found by following this link. Children with health insurance miss fewer days of school, and applying for Florida KidCare is easy. Any family can apply, and many pay $20 or less per month to insure their children. Most pay nothing at all. Click here for additional information.
During and following an emergency situation, school and district officials must act quickly and follow established emergency protocols to safeguard students and staff, secure schools, and communicate accurate information in a timely manner. Parents can assist greatly by helping with preparation before the emergency.
