The purpose of this club is to ignite student voice on campus.

Art Club is an opportunity for students to exchange creative ideas, create works of art and learn new techniques. During art club, students will be:
*Creating personal artwork
*Creating artwork as a group for Southwestern
*Participating in art contests and fundraisers

STEM club will strengthen students' knowledge of helpful science, math, and Reading strategies. Club members will enjoy STEM-focused hands-on activities, games and cultural events while becoming service-minded leaders in their school and communities.

This club is designed for students interested in learning more about all aspects of theater, working collaboratively to learn and participate in a production.
Do you want to celebrate what's happening at SMS? Would you like to learn real life tech skills through PowerPoint, iMovie, Animoto, Bitmoji, etc.? This club is for you!

MATHCOUNTS focuses on helping students think mathematically with focus on speed and fluency. The culmination of this club is a district competition in which students can win a variety of prizes.
Student Government Association (SGA)

SGA is the "voice" of the student body and provides students with the opportunity to enhance their leadership skills by organizing and carrying out school-wide events and service projects.
Sunshine State Young Reader Awards (SSYRA) Book Club

Do you love to read? If so, this is the club for you! The books read in this club are the ones that are read for the county-wide "Battle of the Books"

Tigerettes is a dance team that focuses on school spirit, leadership skills, and academic and behavioral success.
*Teen Zone is sponsored by Ms. A. Smith and held on Tuesday afternoons from 4:20 p.m. – 5:20 p.m.
