Bus transportation is provided for students, however, riding the bus is a privilege that may be revoked at any time for disruptive or unsatisfactory conduct.  Since safety is our primary concern, all students who are transported by bus are under the authority of the bus driver and the school.  Students who are transported to and from school are expected to abide by the “Code of Student Conduct,” School Board Policy 208, the rules of the Transportation Department, and all school rules.

Emergency Bus Board Passes—If there is an emergency in your family and you wish your child to use a different bus stop then he/she is assigned—please do the following:

    1. Send your child to the 7th grade house with a note explaining the emergency and the dates you need the pass.

    2. The child will be given a boarding pass to complete. The child is responsible for the knowing the route number and the bus stop he/she needs.

    3. The child returns the completed boarding pass to the 7th grade house to get it signed.

Remember that the district is only obligated to provide bus service to and from your home address.
