Beach Break News
Sponsor: Mrs. Lastinger and Mrs. Miller Grade: 5 Meeting: Daily
The Beach Break News crew team will be responsible for providing a news broadcast to the Osceola campus. Our student run newscast features student achievements, educational videos, candid student slide shows, as well as daily school news and weather.
Safety Patrol
Sponsor: Ms. Kowalski Grades: 4 & 5
The Osceola Safety Patrol assist teachers with the arrival and dismissal of the younger students.
Osceola Music Club
Sponsor: Mrs. Johns Grades: 3-5 Meeting: Twice a week
The Osceola Chorus is a musical group of students that perform throughout the community and at our school throughout the year.
Girls on the Run
Sponsor: Mrs. Smyth, Mrs Fischer, Ms. Gilbert, Ms. Cleckler and Coach Belfer
Grades: 3,4 & 5 Meeting: Tuesday & Thursday
Girls on the run is a life-changing program for 3rd to 5th grade girls. The club's mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.
Science Club
Sponsor: Mrs. Treur Grade: 5 Meetings: Friday
Utilizing the scientific method, these students can be found after school performing hands on experiments. All club members are required to enter an experiment in the Osceola Science Fair.
Sunshine State Readers
Sponsor: Mrs. Lastinger Grades: 3-5
Read 5 Sunshine Books to become a Sunshine State Reader and receive an invitation to an end of year voting party. For each book read students receive an award and a special charm to add to their Sunshine keychain.
STAR Tutoring
Sponsor: Ms Lopez Grades: Students who have taken FCA/FSA Meeting: Tuesday & Thursday
STAR tutoring is a free individualized tutoring program for learners who have taken FCAT or FSA tests. Included is access to the iReady program.
