    Vehicle and Traffic Safety

Drop off procedures:  Parents can drop off their child by driving through the parking lot loop and exiting the car in the designated area. If a parent would like to walk their child to the gated area, cars must be parked in a parking space.  Parking is not permitted on the sidewalk area on the west side of the campus.

Pick up procedures:  Parents are to make the teacher aware that they are leaving with their child from the designated pick up area.  Cars should be parked in the school parking lot and not on the street or sidewalk.  Parents may also drive through the loop and child will be directed to their vehicle.

    Field Trips

    VOLUNTEERS IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS
Parents who wish to chaperone and drive on field trips should fill out a Volunteer in Public Schools (VIPS). The link below provides information and access to the application.

    INSURANCE
If planning to drive children on a field trip, you must present a copy of the declaration page of your auto-insurance policy at the office. You must have a sufficient amount of coverage which the office needs to verify. Please check with the office for the current insurance standards.

    VEHICLES
Although all cars are deemed acceptable as field trip transportation, you might be surprised to learn that many minivans and SUVs are not allowed. Please check with the office to see if your vehicle is currently approved as a field trip transportation vehicle.
Once again parents, to avoid field trip morning mayhem, please make sure you have all this information well ahead of time.

Please call the office if you have any questions at 386-258-4666.
