    ​Emergency Situation Guide​​

    During and following an emergency situation, school and district officials must act quickly and follow established emergency protocols to safeguard students and staff, secure schools, and communicate accurate information in a timely manner.     Volunteering for Our School

    We welcome and encourage any parent to become an Official School Volunteer.  We have volunteers in classrooms, the media center, and for special events.  If you would like to assist us in any way, please consider becoming a school volunteer. An application must be completed and approved by the district office before anyone can volunteer. If you have questions about becoming a school volunteer, please contact Merry Weaver in the front office at extension 22600.  

    PTA (Parent Teacher Association)

    The PTA at McInnis Elementary supports the school by coordinating fundraising events which enhances school and classroom activities.  The meetings are monthly and start at 4:30 PM.  Meetings are in the Media Center.  All parents are invited to join PTA and show support for McInnis.  For more information about PTA and how you can help, you can send a note to the PTA President, Deysi Torres, with your child's teacher.   

    SAC (School Advisory Committee)

    The School Advisory Committee is for all parents at McInnis.  The focus of the SAC is to develop the School Improvement Plan which includes activities and strategies for the school to increase student achievement.  Parents are presented with information throughout the year on the progress of the plan and the activities related to reading, math, writing​, and science.  Meetings are once a month and start at 3:15 PM in the Media Center.  We welcome and encourage all parents to attend and be a part of SAC.  For more information on SAC, you can sent a note with your child's teacher to Elis Rodriguez, the SAC Chair.

    Full-time Virtual Instruction Enrollment
