Calling all 5th graders! We want to celebrate and recognize you! On Thursday, May 28th 5:30-6:30pm, our rising 6th grade students are invited to parade through the parking lot in their cars for a Clap Out! We want to celebrate YOU and cheer and clap as you drive past. Put on your best MCE gear, decorate your cars, and have fun!
Due to numerous errors our yearbooks have to be re-printed. We will notify parents when they are available for pick-up. Thank you for your patience!

Volusia County Schools (VCS) will be providing FREE Breakfast and Lunch
meals for its students during the extended school closure period. Students must be present to receive

Volusia County Schools (VCS) Student Transportation Services will be
assisting district staff with food delivery to centralized locations

Today (04/01/2020) the Governor issued a statewide stay-at-home
order. We are happy to report this does not affect our student learning,
nor will there be any interruption in the distribution of food for
students. Essential personnel will continue to report to district and
school sites, while our many other employees will continue working
remotely. Technology distribution at schools will also remain as
AdventHealth eCare is now available in your student's school. AdventHealth eCare provides virtual access to doctors and nurse practioners for minor ailments. You see the doctor on your time - when and where it's convenient for you. As part of the Volusia County Schools Healthy Futures Program, AdventHealth will provide a one-time use voucher to cover the cost of the visit for qualified students. Follow up with your school nurse for more details.
Free and Reduced Meal Applications
Did you know that Manatee Cove Elementary is a Title I school? Schools become eligible for Title I funds based on teh number of students that qualify for the Free and Reduced Meal Program. Schools with a poverty rate of 75% of higher automatically receive funds, and those with lower rates may receive funds if they are available. Title I is a federal aid program that provides funds to help students succeed academically. These funds are used to help students meet the state's high standards, particularly in the areas of reading, mathematics, science, and writing. Your registration helps the school receive funding and your information is kept private.

Manatee Cove's approved collared polo shirt colors are blue, green, white, gray, black. School spirit shirts can be worn on Fridays. Bottoms must be solid gray, navy, blue, black, or khaki. Closed toe shoes are required and hair must be its natural color.
