FFEA - Florida Future Educator's of America
FFEA is an active service club with a primary goal to provide club members with opportunities to learn about education and experience qualities essential to a career in education. The dues for this year are $5 and will help offset the cost of planned school and community projects and our end-of-year celebration. We will be writing to troops overseas, making cards for Nursing Home residents, making learning activities and reading to ESE, Kindergarten, and 1st grade students. We will have community speakers come to share information and will learn about different opportunities for being educators. We will also do something special to recognize 5th grade studetns at the end of the year.
Manatee Milers Running Club
This club consists of a group of interested Kindergarten through 5th grade students, parents and staff members. Manatee Milers increases the value of good physical fitness and the joy associated with jogging/walking with peers and family. Pick-up is promptly at 3:10pm. PARENTS please park in the BUS/STAFF lot and enter through the breezeway doors to pick-up your student on the PE court.
Kona Ice
Kona Ice is scheduled to visit the last Friday of every month. A portion of the proceeds benefit staff and students of Manatee Cove Elementary. Prices range from $3 - $6. Color changing cups are $6 with refills for $3.
