    PTA

The Indian River Elementary PTA is a group of dedicated parents and teachers working together with a common purpose - to become a powerful voice for each student, to become a relevant source of information for parents, to enhance the relationship between the school and the community, and finally to be a strong advocate for the education and well-being of every child. Our PTA remains very proud of its commitment to our students, our school, and our community. If you are interested in joining the PTA, please contact the front office.

    School Advisory Council

The Indian River Elementary School Advisory Council (SAC) consists of teachers, support personnel, parents, and community members that meet once a month. Fifty-one percent of the council must be parents and/or community members not employed by the district. This group helps determine and prioritize the needs of the school. They are involved in the School Improvement Plan and determining how the School improvement funds are spent. The members of SAC believe in shared decision making within the school and community in order to improve and support student learning. If you are interested in becoming a member, please fill out a form in the front office.

    Clinic Procedures

    Medication for Students:

In order for a student to receive medication during school hours a doctor must complete a Request for Medication Form and the medicine must be delivered to the school by a parent /guardian.
