    Knight Family,

Thank you for welcoming me this year to the Holly Hill Knight family. Although this will be my first year serving as an Assistant Principal at Holly Hill School, this is a return home for me as well.  I am a proud product of Volusia County Schools and a former student of Holly Hill Jr High. It is an honor to serve within a community that I have called home for many years.

After graduating from Mainland High School, I received undergraduate degrees from Florida A& M University and the University of Central Florida.  I earned my post graduate degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.

I have spent all of my years as a professional educator with Volusia County Schools. I have been fortunate to serve in a number of different capacities and instructional levels to include: School Counselor, Teacher on Assignment and Assistant Principal.

My faith, family and education are the foundations of my life. My parents and many extended family members have served within Volusia County Schools.  My immediate family has continued the same tradition. My husband currently serves as Assistant Principal at Campbell Middle School.  I look forward to continuing to serve the students, staff, family and community of Holly Hill School.

    Go Knights!

    Mrs. Angela Polite

    To Our Knight Community,

I have been in the education profession in Volusia County for almost 20 years. In 1997, I began my teaching career at Tomoka Elementary School where I taught in the intermediate grades. In 2006, I was appointed as the Assistant Principal at Discovery Elementary school in Deltona, Fl. While there for 3 years, I developed an enjoyment for working with technology in the classrooms. In 2010, I was assigned to newly opening River Springs Middle School in Orange City, Fl. I worked there for 5 years either as the 6th or 7th grade assistant principal. I was able to gain secondary grade level knowledge through many of the experiences I could share with my fellow administrators. I'm currently in my 4th year at Holly Hill School, I have been able to establish and foster rapport and relationships with our families, community and school staff. I enjoy when I'm out in the community and I see our families in the local grocery stores, mall, or just walking down the street.

I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Bethune Cookman College. I then enrolled at Nova Southeastern University to complete my Master's degree in Elementary and Middle School Curriculum. Lastly, I earned an Educational Specialist Degree from Nova Southeastern University in Educational Leadership.

I look forward to continuing to support our students, families, and school staff as we continue to move ahead in the right direction. GO KNIGHTS!!!

    Respectfully,

    Steffan Mallory.
