Greetings Freedom Falcons,
Your acts of kindness and support makes me beyond ecstatic to serve as your proud principal. The beginning of the 2020-2021 school year started like no other, but we accepted, faced, and mastered the challenge. Our families, students, teachers, and staff never fail to amaze me. You are all dedicated and committed to providing our students with a brighter future.
We are now entering the final quarter of the 2020-2021 school year. Our district is in a much better position than we were last year, and I'm so thankful. The FSA testing season is quickly approaching. Our message to our students is that the state assessment is designed to show the State of Florida just how smart you are! Our faculty and staff have worked hard to fill achievement gaps caused by the pandemic. Please continue to encourage your child to read at home daily and to try their very best every day.
I often encourage the students to be kind, take care of each other, and always see the good in their fellow falcon friends. If there ever was a time where we needed to model love and kindness, it is now. Let's all continue working together to close out this final quarter as a team, most importantly, "remember at Freedom, we ALWAYS soar high!"
