    Student Safety

Let’s Work Together to Keep Our Students Safe.  Students are being injured by vehicles at alarming rates. Please do your part to keep students safe.

    * Watch out for pedestrians and bicycles.

    * Expect children to be walking or riding bikes to and from school or their assigned bus stop between the hours of 6 am – 9 am and 1 pm – 5 pm.

    * Obey the speed limits and stay alert.

    * Urge your friends and neighbors to use caution when driving before and after school.  We must change this trend and work together to keep our students safe.

For more tips and safety information on vehicle and pedestrian safely, visit Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.

    PARENTS, GUARDIANS AND VISITORS:

When coming from Providence Blvd. to the Cafeteria parent pick-up loop, please stay in the inbound traffic lane.  Vehicles are by-passing the cars in line waiting to pick up students by traveling in the outbound lanes which is very dangerous to oncoming traffic and pedestrians. Waiting in line is necessary -- please be patient and obey traffic patterns for the safety of all.

Please follow the traffic pattern of the school.  Also, please DO NOT allow children to exit the driver's side when using the Cafeteria parent pick-up loop.  Students should only exit the vehicle from the passenger's side for their safety.  Parents should remain in their vehicles.  DO NOT use the bus loop.

    Thank you for your cooperation.
