DeLand Middle School Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month

Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated September 15 - October 15 every year.  Students in Ms. Pogue's art class created artwork to recognize Hispanic and Latin Americans' heritage, culture and contributions.  We invite you to stop by the office to view the displays!

DeLand Middle School SAC Needs You!

The School Advisory Council meets monthly to assist in making recommendations on how our school operates. SAC membership is comprised of elected parents, staff, and business community officials.

    • Are you interested in what goes on at school?
    • Are you one of our many working parents who cannot be at school during the day to help or volunteer?
    • Are you willing to commit to attending eight meetings during the school year for approximately 1 hour.

If you answered yes to the above questions, then you are just the person we are looking for to serve on DeLand Middle's School Advisory Council.

Please join us on Thursday, November 8th at 6:00 p.m. in the Media Center to learn more about how you can support DMS!
