    Let's teach flu a lesson!

For the health of all of our students, a free flu vaccination is being offered for students.  With parent consent, the pain-free FluMist vaccine will be administered during the school day by a nurse.  In order for the vaccine to be administered, parents/guardians must complete a consent form and return it to the school.   The free vaccine will only be offered one time on October 22, from 11:30- 2:00.    The vaccine is being provided by Healthy Schools, in partnership with the school board and health department of Volusia County

    Free Tax Preparation Help

The VITA Program offers free tax help to low- to moderate-income (generally, $49,000 and below) people who prefer not to prepare their own tax returns.

The Campaign for Working Families has joined the Internal Revenue Service once again this year to offer this service. This year Campaign for Working Families will be hosting 12 sites located in Daytona Beach, DeLand, Deltona, Port Orange , Bunnell, Palm Coast, Pierson and Seville.

To locate the nearest VITA site, call United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties, Inc. at 386-253-0564 or 2-1-1, or visit the website at: http://www.cfwffla.org.
