Let's Teach Flu a Lesson
For the Health of all of our students, a free flue vaccination is being offered for students. With parent consent, the pain-free FluMist vaccine will be administered during the school day by a Healthy Schools nurse. In order for the vaccine to be administered, parents/guardians must complete a consent form and return it to their child's school. Consent forms are in the process of being sent home with students. The free vaccine will only be offered one time at each school between September 16-19. The vaccine is being provided by Healthy Schools, in partnership with the School Board and Health Department of Volusia County.
