    Reminders/ Notes:

Your child is required to read a minimum of 20 minutes each night. Parent handouts are being sent home to help you monitor your child's comprehension.

We believe that communication is key to your student's success. We will work to schedule a conference with each family early in the year. However, please inform us of any concern or request a conference at any time to review your child's progress.

Homework will be assigned Monday through Thursday.  Time is given for students to write their daily assignments in their planners. Please check your child's homework and sign the planners and reading log daily.

Reading tests are given every Friday. Other subject area tests will be announced in advance (and written in the planner) to allow students time to properly prepare.

    Fun Friday

Students earn many different rewards including Fun Friday activities and treats.

    Field Trips

The grade level will sponsor several fundraisers to cut down the student cost. Your support will be appreciated! The date of the trips will be announced as soon as they are is booked.

On the last Friday of each month, we will recognize the children’s birthdays for the month.  Parents may send in a small bagged treat that can be shared with the child’s classmates.

Donations of Lysol wipes, dry erase markers, paper goods and copy paper are always appreciated. Thank you.
