    Read at home!

We believe that communication is key to your student's success. We will work to schedule a conference with each family early in the year. However, please inform us of any concern or request a conference at any time to review your child's progress.

Please make sure your child is bringing their planners everyday and turning in homework every day.  Completing homework every day will ensure your child will be in tip top shape.

Each 4th grade teacher requires their students to read for at least 30 minutes at home each night and document it on their reading log.  Thank you for your continued support at home.

    Special Events

On the last Friday of each month, we will recognize the children’s birthdays for the month.  Parents may send in a small bagged treat that can be shared with the child’s classmates.

Parents thanks for all your support!  We are looking forward to a great year.

    Fun Friday

Students earn many different rewards including Fun Friday activities and treats.

    Field Trips

The study of Florida is part of the social studies curriculum and the team travels to St. Augustine to immerse in the study of the oldest city in the United States. The trip is full of wonderful Florida history! The day includes a trolley tour, Colonial activities, and a tour of the Castillo de San Marcos, a national monument. Because of transportation needs, the grade level will sponsor several fundraisers to cut down the student cost. Your support will be appreciated! The date of the trip will be announced as soon as it is booked.
