​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The Purpose of this page is to provide a formal process for Schools & Departments to review approved furniture and furniture product Vendors, obtain quotes, & submit the appropriate request form to Purchasing.

Furniture Catalog Process - Procedure

To begin, follow these steps:

Step 1: Approved Vendors & Product Offerings Guide

Use the guide to review the list of approved vendors and what furniture products each vendor is offering to VCS. Schools & Departments should only do business with approved vendors.

Step 2: Product Selection

The School or Department may select the furniture desired using one or both of the following two methods:

Option A: District 21st Century Furniture Catalog

The catalog contains standard furniture items placed throughout the District and have been sampled/demoed by VCS for their form, fit and function.

Obtion B: Furniture Percentage Discount Offerings​

Note: ​If specific furniture item not found in the Furniture Catalog: Schools & Departments may contact Purchasing for specific pricing/availability.

Step 3: Submit Online Furniture Quote Request Form

Schools and Departments will fill out all required information on the Furniture Quote Request Form. Be sure to include all quotes, funding approval documentation, etc. using the attachment option.

* Please note: Funding must be secured and approved before the Furniture Quote Request Form may be submitted.

Once submitted, the form will be approved by Purchasing and then the school bookkeeper or department requestor will load the request into Smart Stream.
