This year's Curriculum Summer Institute will be held June 13 and 14, 2016 at River Springs Middle School. A variety of opportunities are available for individuals to develop their professional practice in collaborative and engaging sessions.

Classrooms Connect to Achieve the SHIFTS

Classrooms Connect to Achieve the SHIFTS is a two-day convening focused on rigorous instructional practices that is required of the Florida Standards. All sessions are led by Volusia teachers known as Volusia Lead Advocates. There will be two opportunities to attend this training (June 15-16 or August 1-2); all participants will receive a $15/hour stipend. Participants will receive continued grade/subject level  support through online collaborative teams throughout the 2016-17 school year.  JOIN US for this high-quality professional learning event!

Do you like collaborating with colleagues on topics that YOU suggest? Join your Volusia colleagues and educators from other districts for a participant-driven, participant-led day of learning, Saturday, June 11, 8:00-3:00 at New Smyrna Beach Middle.
