Consultants Qualification Requirements

Firms seeking to provide professional services to The Volusia County School Board must hold a valid certificate of qualification issued by the board, when the scope of services falls under the requirements of the Consultants Competitive Negotiations Act (CCNA), Florida Statutes 287.055.

To become "certified" by the board, firms must complete and submit an "Application for Certification as a Consultant to Provide Services" and submit all required documents to the Facilities Planning Department.  Firms holding a valid certificate of qualification issued by the school board will receive all legal notices announcing a need for professional services.

Certificates are valid for one year from date of school board approval; renewable by submitting a new application prior to expiration.
