Our mission is to encourage energy saving habits by implementing and regulating cost avoidance measures. Our goal is to free up dollars spent on utility services so that more funds can be used for instructional programs and support services.

SunSmart Emergency Shelter Program
Champion Elementary, Heritage Middle School and Pine Ridge High School were selected to participate in UCF's SunSmart Schools Emergency Shelter program. The schools will receive a 10 kw solar electric array with battery back-up, educational materials, and professional development training. The solar system will provide power to critical loads in the event of an electrical power outage.
