Instructional Materials Review

​​​​​​​​​Science instructional materials for grades K - 12, including Advanced Placement, are being considered for adoption by the School District of Volusia County.  Below are the Volusia County School Board Policy and Florida Statute regulating the process for selection and review, as well as web links to the recommended instructional materials.

Science and elementary social studies instructional materials being considered for adoption by the School District of Volusia County for implementation in the 2018-2019 school year will be exhibited for public review, as follows:

  • ​Monday, January 29, 4 p.m. -  6 p.m.
    DeLand High School – Media Center

  • ​Thursday, February 1, 4 p.m. -  6 p.m.
    New Smyrna Beach High School – Media Center

  • ​Friday, February 2, 4 p.m. -  6 p.m.
